So happy to have tried this gem. I thought I was done adding more Italian restaurants to my list but no. I don't remember the prompt but I googled them and was prepared to think same old stuff and not New York. The menu made me go to dinner tonight. Big dining room. Table linens. Greeted at the door by the lovely Nicolette. Professional and welcoming. Water and bread and delicious olive oil mixture delivered immediately. Almost as fast was our server, Paloma. You can tell she likes this place. And she knew her job. Explained the specials first. We told her we were impressed by the menu. She actually mentioned some favs in each category. Now that is a pro. Caesar salad was delish and anchovies were available. Bob had amazing beet and ricotta salad in a honey beet vinaigrette over arugula. I ordered cannelloni Fiorentina. I haven't even seen this on a menu in Florida. Homemade pasta filled with ricotta and chicken and spinach. Topped with besciamella sauce and tomato sauce. It took me to my special place. Bob had Frutta de mer a diablo. No skimping on the fish. A great assortment of fresh juicy fish. Also homemade pasta. Brought leftovers home plus a tiramisu. Can't wait for round two. I have to try a lot more. Cocktails and wine list is very detailed and creative. Plenty of choices on the menu. No wonder this place was busy on a Thursday.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for years and finally had a chance to! The service was great, the atmosphere was delightful, and the food was much better than I could have expected. And i had no idea that they had a full bar, but great to know! (Apparently they have an excellent Happy Hour!) The baked clams were excellent, reminded me of my mothers. The pasta dish we ordered was the Sachetti that came in a truffle cream sauce with mushrooms and prosciutto. The sauce was awesome - my ONLY complaint (which is hardly a complaint bc the dish was delicious) is that the pasta shape brought out was Ravioli, not Sacchetti. Perhaps they ran out... but truly the only thing that could've made that dish better would be the pasta I thought it was going to be! The other entree we ordered was their Chilean Seabass special with Risotto. I was nervous ordering that at a restaurant not explicitly known for seafood, but I can't resist Chilean Seabass. It was EXCELLENT. both the fish and the risotto were awesome, we licked the plate! For dessert we tried their cheesecake and it was lovely. We will definitely be back (I am dying to try their pizza as several folks had it around us and it looked really good)

When my wife and I come into a new area one of the things I like to do is eat at a local-mom & pop Italian restaurant. (Pizza) Enzo's Is definitely that. Our waitress told us the owner is Italian and makes the pizzas. We did not have reservations, (they are recommended) but we walked in they were extremely busy but we were somehow quickly seated. The only thing negative I would have to say is it's extremely loud inside. It was so loud that my wife and I sitting beside each other could hardly hear each other!! BUT the delicious food makes up for that. You can tell it's a local favorite dining spot. Our waitress was great & friendly. The restaurant is very nice inside. My wife got manicotti and I got the pizza. The pizzas are big!! The food was delicious,, very good Italian food. Great spot!!

Excellent service and food! They accommodated our big party and we all enjoyed our dinners. The menu had a vast selection of appetizers and entrees. So many delicious options that I'll have to come back for more.

Wow. This place is awesome! Nice takeout area where we entered by mistake. Open kitchen. Smells and looks awesome. The pizzas. The dishes. Amazing. Friendly kitchen staff. Nice husband and wife owners. Nice clientele. Restaurant area has soaring wood ceilings. And expose beams. Very cool. Nice new bar. Open and beautifully appointed. Service was excellent. Meadow, or server was perfect. And nice and knowledgeable. The drinks were great. Excellent wine list with great options at every price point. The food was amazing. We started with the "Mew Jersey" style pizza for the table. Thin, crispy crust. Perfect balance of chews and sauce. Excellent cheese. Winner! Then we had veal salrimbucca, osso buca, chicken piccata, pasta satchels with porcini mushrooms in a cream sauce and an amazing spaghetti dish. It was all the best from both northern and southern Italy. And everything was spectacular. You can tell by the plates!!! Highest recommendation. This place is amazing!

Five stars this time due to the stellar service by Andre. I definitely feel the service was way better in the dining room. Food was delicious. Pizza, salad, mozzarella sticks, homemade crème brûlée, really fabulous. Yes, the acoustics aren't the best, it's kind of loud, but with the exceptional service and really outstanding food, it's a non issue for me. I adore the ambiance, I am obsessed with the wood ceiling and the rustic decor. It's a big "yes" for me. The menu is immense, really something for everyone's palate. Loved it....

We had. Dinner at Enzo's Italian Restaurant in Bonita Beach, Fla tonight. Good news, I could make a reservation on Open Table. I ordered the sausage & meatballs parmigiana plated over stewed tomato sauce with spaghetti. What a great choice - this dish was very tasty and such a generous portion, I took 1/2 home for tomorrow's lunch. I would have given Enzo's a 5 star rating, but the restaurant was very loud making it difficult to carry on a conversation. That said, the food was so good we will return.

Where do I even start with Enzo's? It was FANTASTIC! A friend recommended this spot to me so on the girls trip we all went. I got the truffle mushroom pasta and ummm I could live in this dish! I tried a little of everyone's and not one bad bite! The service was great and the ambiance was perfect! Thanks for having us. We will be back!

My husband, his parents and I had dinner here last week. Overall we had a nice experience and were especially impressed with the service. Enzo's has been a Bonita Springs Italian staple since 1985. The original owner brought his families recipes over from his small village in Italy. Two years ago, they sold it to new ownership. However, he still comes in periodically to taste the sauces to ensure they're still authentic. I love the ambience and decor of this place. The vaulted ceiling is planked with beautiful wood beams. The walls are lined with sand stone bricks and large mirrors on the far wall that give it an open and airy feel. It makes you feel like you're in Italy. 5/5 on the decor. While I love the vaulted ceiling, it can get a bit loud during the dinner rush. We've gone twice now during dinner and felt the noise level was a bit overwhelming. The service is great and it's clear that the staff are passionate about what they do. The servers are knowledgeable, cheery, and hospitable. The GM can be seen running around filling in wherever necessary. To me, that's the sign of a good manager. The menu is HUGE, which in my opinion is a negative. I wonder how well a place can do all the dishes when there are so many. But it also provides a wide variety for everyone in your party. As far as the food goes there are some real winners on the menu and some flops (in my opinion). Bread Basket: They provide a complimentary bread basket with a delicious dipping oil. The bread is soft and chewy with a wonderful herbaceous flavor. I've never had a dipping oil like this one at any other Italian restaurant. We were told it's a recipe special to the previous owners town in Italy. It has the perfect balance of the earthiness from the oil and tang from the seasoning. Chefs kiss. Pork Chop Special: Most nights they serve a pork chop entree as one of their specials. The pork chop is the chefs specialty and boy does it show. The dish is a knock out, from the presentation to taste. The night we were there it was served over pappardelle pasta with perfectly cooked mushrooms. The mushrooms added a wonderful umami component that melted into the creamy pasta sauce. 5/5 - highly recommend Garlic Knots: I feel like garlic knots are just garlic knots at the end of the day. But I'd put these in the top knots I've ever had. The garlic came through in the dough and there was a good amount of garlic butter drizzled on top. But the sauce was the best part for me. The marinara was incredibly flavorful and had the right balance of acid, salt and sweetness. Veal Piccata Risotto Romano: Unfortunately the veal piccata was a flop for me. Overall it was a lack luster dish. The meat was chewy and bland, and it lacked presentation. When it was set in front of me I wasn't excited to eat it. There wasn't any variety in color on the plate and a lot of the components were one note. I think this dish needs a revamp from the original recipe. Chicken Marsala: I didn't try the chicken masala myself but my father in law thought it was pretty good. He said he prefers the sauce to be a bit thicker but otherwise it was alright. Overall it's a nice restaurant with a long standing history in Bonita Springs. I love to see family owned establishments thrive through the years. It's a good place to go for a simple pizza night or a more upscale dining night.
